Created in 2009, ALIAM (Alliance of French-Speaking African and Mediterranean Leagues Against Cancer) brings together 72 associations, leagues and NGOs from 27 countries in Africa and the Mediterranean region.ALIAM is a French-language alliance piloted by a committee composed of representatives from North and Sub-Saharan Africa, the Indian Ocean region and France.ALIAM seeks to advance and develop cancer treatment and research by promoting South-South and North-South cooperation and exchange through the following four activities:
